Coordinators and permitted service staff
Customers and sites
Build reliable company and location records.
What to do
- Open Customers and search before creating a new company. A name alone is not a reliable unique identifier.
- Open the customer record to review its details and visible sites. Use the available creation form to add a real site with the correct customer relationship.
- Add contact details only when needed for the service workflow. Confirm email and phone information rather than copying uncertain values.
- For a correction, use the available correction action and enter a meaningful reason. Review the saved record after submission.
- Use correction history to understand earlier changes. Older corrections opens earlier pages; Refresh corrections returns to the newest recorded changes.
Before you continue
Changing a name must not silently merge unrelated companies. Imported references and their source matter.
Site counts and search results reflect your access; engineers may see a narrower assigned scope.
Questions and troubleshooting
A customer is missing from search?
Check spelling, filters, organization and role. Ask a permitted colleague to verify the record before creating a duplicate.
A site is attached to the wrong customer?
Use the supported correction or assignment workflow with a reason. Do not create a replacement record solely to hide an incorrect relationship.
